The company presented its activities and explored new perspectives in partnerships development
The Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI SA) participates in the 51st International Exhibition Paris Air Show, which takes place in Le Bourget of France between 15 and 21 of June. Paris Air Show is a showcase where the largest and most important industries of the aeronautical sector are presenting advanced products and high end technologies.
HAI, as an exhibitor, presents the technological capabilities, the wide range of products and services of the company, and – through targeted contacts – pursues both to extend current partnerships and to achieve new agreements.
The Minister of National Defense, Mr. Panos Kammenos accompanied by the Chief of General Air Force Staff Lieutenant General Mr. Christos Vaitsis visited HAI’s stand. The Minister addressed a statement underlining the excellence of HAI and the ascertainment that “... the name of HAI referred in all the places I visited in the exhibition. HAI achieved through the years highly important sign ups in worldwide level, a fact attributed primarily to its human resources...”. He also stated that, “...a country that is technologically advanced has nothing to fear – in Greece, the term Technology is a synonym to the Hellenic Aerospace Industry”.
During the exhibition, HAI’s executive team had a series of scheduled meetings with high rank officials – among them, the Chief Executive of European Defense Agency Mr. Jorge Domecq – as well as customers and partners who were attending the Air Show.
HAI has a significant presence on the international aeronautical stage – a result of the company’s extrovert strategy. In this context, HAI signed recently a contract with Lockheed Martin for the 5-year (2015-2019) extension of C-130J Super Hercules co-production program. The value of this contract is approximately USD 72 mil.
In parallel, by implementing a solid strategic plan for financial recovery and growth HAI, in Fiscal Year 2014, managed to achieve, positive results before taxes – for the first time since its establishment – the financial results will be officially communicated on the forthcoming week.
