The Engine Maintenance Facilities house 18 production shops fully capable of providing repair, overhaul, modification and testing to a wide range of aircraft turbofan, turbojet, turbo shaft, turboprop and reciprocating engines such as:

For the M53, T56 (military and civil version), T53 and APU 85/184 the Engines Maintenance Facilities is an Authorized Service Center.

In addition the Facilities offer engine maintenance and technical support services at the customer's premises.

Engine Test Cells

There are two test cells within the company premises.

The capacity of the first engine test cell is up to 30,000 lbs of thrust, capable to accommodate many military engines and medium size civil aircraft power plants. The second, engine test cell of a nominal capacity of up to 100,000 lbs of thrust can meet testing needs of all military and/or civil power plants.

Both Test Cells utilize computer controlled automatic systems that provide rapid and accurate testing information, as well as testing instructions, limits and warnings.

In addition to their production activities, the Engine Maintenance Facilities perform:

• Design and development of engine repair schemes (salvages).
• Design of special tools and equipment for the engine maintenance operations.
• Engine or parts life extension studies.
• Plan specific processes as well as engine inspections and investigations.
